In light of the evolving COVID-19 situation, Action Potential Rehabilitation has made the difficult decision to temporarily close our clinic and suspend in-home therapy treatment for the next 2 weeks (Wednesday, March 18th until Friday, March 27th). This decision was made following the recommendations of Health Canada, Ottawa Public Health and the Ontario Physiotherapy Association in order to protect everyone’s health, but especially the most vulnerable members in our community. Your physiotherapy care is very important to us, and be reassured that we will resume services as soon as possible. We will re-assess the situation at the end of next week and keep you updated. We are exploring other ways to deliver care, including by phone or virtual tele-rehab sessions. We will update you as soon as we have more information.
In the meantime, if you have concerns about your well-being or need assistance, please contact your therapist directly or our administration office which remains open at 613-680-6400. We will do our very best to help you problem solve or find resources to assist you. Please know that you are not alone and that we are here to help.
We will be reaching out to you with updates and we will also post these updates on our website and Facebook page. For current information about COVID-19 and measures taking place in the city, please visit the Ottawa Public Health website: https://www.ottawapublichealth.ca/en/public-health-topics/novel-coronavirus.aspx
We sincerely hope that you stay healthy and we hope to see you soon,
Wendy Sarsons and Jacquie Levy
