Sit-to-Stand Trainer

The Sit-to-Stand Trainer is a valuable tool for those needing help with transfers, walking, and standing—particularly in the postoperative stage, those with MS or Parkinson’s, and elderly clients. The device employs a counterweight system to strengthen the user’s weight-bearing muscles.  Unlike other machines, the sit-to-stand trains clients to stand.

Individuals with difficulties standing, walking, and transferring may find the Sit-to-Stand Trainer helpful. The device has been specially engineered to accommodate those with the following conditions:

  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Postoperative recovery
  • Spinal cord injury
  • Stroke
  • Lower body fracture

Our team at Action Potential Rehabilitation is very knowledgeable about this piece of equipment, and can discuss whether the Sit-to-Stand Trainer is right for you.
