Balance and Mobility Program

The Balance and Mobility Program is designed for ambulatory clients who are at risk of falling and may use walking aids for support.

An individual initial assessment is completed by a physiotherapist to ensure that this is the right program for you. Once she establishes that this program will meet your needs, the physiotherapist will use the information gathered from your assessment to design a customized exercise program.

You will be working in a small group (4-5 people) on an individualized program focusing on balance, gait, strength, and flexibility.

The program is run by a registered physiotherapist and may include a rehabilitation assistant. The Balance and Mobility program runs out of our clinic at 2081 Merivale Road (south of Hunt Club).
