Assistive Devices Program

The paediatric physiotherapists at APR are trained and experienced in helping you select the most appropriate medical equipment to meet your child’s needs. Our physiotherapists are authorized to apply for funding on your behalf to the Assistive Devices Program (ADP), which covers 75% of the cost of approved medical equipment in Ontario

Your physiotherapist will assess which pieces of equipment would be most beneficial and take your child’s measurements to ensure a good fit. Whether your child needs a stander, walker, or wheelchair, our paediatric physiotherapists will guide you, liaise with vendors and advocate for your child every step of the way.
